Powered with 1102 22000KV motors, it performs smoothly in the air and is maneuverable for freestyle tricks. It features a roomier battery slot that can accommodate a bigger battery such as BT2.0 550mAh 1S battery, which provides a larger capacity and higher discharge rate, bringing more flight time and robust flight performance to the quadcopter. Micro Canopy Lite has an adjustable camera lens of 0-40°. This new canopy weighs only 1.1g, which is very suitable for HD digital VTX drone, and the open design makes the electronics cooler better. Equipped with F4 1S 5A flight controller (Serial ELRS 2.4G or SPI Frsky). The ELRS 2.4G RX version comes with the default ELRS V2.0 firmware and supports being upgraded to ELRS V3.0 separately without flashing Betaflight flight controller firmware. The SPI Frsky version can be also used as the PNP version to connect external receiver due to the two UART ports on the board. HD Digital VTX System The Walksnail Avatar HD Mini 1S Lite uses H.265 high-efficiency video coding, an industry-leading technology, providing 1080P/60FPS image recording with 22ms ultra-low latency. It is specially designed for 3.1-5V power input and 7.8g lightweight, compatible with 1S whoop drone. Built-in 8 GB storage, this VTX has the capability of recording HD video without interference from capacity and exporting video by USB cable. The BT3.0 connectors boast a rated discharge current of 12A and an instantaneous current of up to 20A, meeting the discharge requirements of 2S batteries. BT3.0 Connectors The BT3.0 connectors are a 3PIN terminal, two metal pins with a diameter of 1.3mm are used for battery discharge, and two metal pins with a diameter of 1.3mm and a metal pin with a diameter of 1.0mm are combined into a 3PIN connector as a balanced charger for battery charging. The BT3.0 connectors have polarity marks on their welding cup but don't support reverse connections. When welding wires, make sure to pay attention to the positive and negative directions. The connector's design prevents reverse connections, so do not force it in the opposite direction to avoid short circuit risks. When you resolder your board, please pay attention to the connection method. BT3.0 Cable Pigtail is composed of blue wire and white wire.     Based on the F405 2-4S 20A Flight Controller V4, the F405 4S 20A Toothpick Flight Controller V5 applies a new ICM42688 gyro and ESC chip that comes with BLUEJAY ESC firmware so it supports bidirectional D-shot. In addition to plug-and-play ports for the receiver and HD Digitial VTX, the same as the V4 board, the V5 board is made with a more rational layout for easy solder and preventing solder from jumping to another pad and shorting components.  Check out all our whoop flight controllers, and all our BetaFPV gear!   Features Not only is the flight controller board made with a rational layout, but it is also designed with larger solder pads. It is very easy for pilots to solder external electronics. The flight controller is capable of handling 20A continuous current and reaching 25A peak current due to high-quality MOSFETs. Soldering motor wires to the pad directly allows lower resistance for more current on motors. Besides, solder pads are reinforced by thick copper and edge plating processes, ensuring a solid value and durable use. Reserving the UART ports layout, UART3 for RX, UART4 for HD digital VTX, UART6 for Analog VTX, and UART1 for spare use, it is more convenient for pilots to solder. This board comes with a 25.5x25.5mm whoop mounting pattern; this board can be added to both the toothpick drone and the cinematic whoop quadcopter  Note: F405 4S 20A FC V5 is available to flash both BLHeli_S and BLUEJAY ESC firmware and it comes with default BLUEJAY firmware. The main difference is that the BLUEJAY firmware supports bidirectional D-shot, while BLHeli_S does not support it.    Comparison to F405 2-4S 20A V4 FC We upgraded the F405 2-4S 20A V4 board to V5 by adopting ICM42688 gyro instead of MPU6000 and adding some new features. ICM42688 gyro works great in most cases. Except for the gyro, the V5 board comes with a completely new ESC firmware that supports bidirectional D-shot. The way to connect motors changed and is solderable only on the V5 board. Besides the V5 FC board features high-quality material for stability and durability. The below pictures show the difference between the two flight controllers. Note: The F405 2-4S 20A Flight Controller V4 with BMI270 gyro will be available for purchase for a period of time. DJI O3 Vibration Problem To tackle the challenge of vibration on many whoop drones, the DJI O3 unit is mounted on a carbon fiber plate with 4 rubber dampers. This innovative design ensures peak performance and perfect stability. Troubleshooting To improve video quality when recording with DJI O3 HD VTX, turn off its electronic stabilization and use GyroFlow stabilization software. When fixing the HD VTX bracket with M1.4*10 screws, ensure that the nut just touches the shock-absorbing ball. The Jello effect may occur during the above installation due to 2 reasons: The VTX bracket is over-tightened with the screw and the rubber dumper is totally deformed. To solve this, make sure that the screw is tightened just enough to touch the shock-absorbing ball and keep the ball and bracket loose. If It is a large deformation of the frame or quadcopter blades, replace the frame or blades with larger vibrations if necessary. Note: use acetate tape to bind motor wires and prevent them from drooping and interfering with the propeller's rotation. Upgrade Low Profile Design After collecting feedback through the BETA TEST, we lowered the height of the HD VTX mounting bracket and whoop duct from 60.6mm to 51.5mm and the battery compartment results in a more low profile on the cinewhoop.  Pilots can further customize their cinewhoop with DIY options such as battery straps or printable components, allowing for compatibility with a variety of battery sizes. BETAFPV takes the flying experience to new heights by introducing ELRS links that offer long-range capabilities, low latency, and high refresh rates in a radio control system. Basic Configuration SuperG Nano Transmitter is designed to receive signals using the Crossfire Serial Data Protocol (CRSF). Therefore, the interface of the transmitter's high-frequency module needs to support CRSF signal output. Taking the EdgeTX transmitter system as an example, we will explain how to configure the transmitter to output CRSF signals and control the transmitter using Lua scripts. In the EdgeTX system, navigate to MODEL SEL and enter the SETUP menu. Disable Internal RF (set to OFF), enable External RF, and set the Output Mode to CRSF, as shown in the picture below. Lua scripting is a lightweight and compact scripting language that can be embedded in the transmitter for convenient access to and modification of the transmitter's configuration. Download the elrsV3.lua script from the BETAFPV Support Center or ExpressLRS Configurator. Copy the official Lua script, elrsV3.lua, to the SD card of the transmitter, under the path Scripts/Tools. On the EdgeTX system, long-press the SYS button or MENU button to access the SD-HC CARD menu. In this menu, select the elrsV3.Lua script and run it. If the Lua script runs successfully, the interface will appear as shown in the illustration below. Custom Buttons SuperG Nano Transmitter reserves 2 buttons that can be customized by users. Here are the specific steps to operate: Enable the transmitter's WiFi or power it on and wait for 60 seconds to enter WiFi mode using LUA programming. The RGB indicator light will slowly flash in green, indicating that the transmitter has automatically enabled WiFi (WiFi name: ExpressLRS TX, WiFi password: expresslrs).  Connect your smartphone or computer to the WiFi network and open a web browser. Enter http://10.0.0.1 to access the custom button settings page. In the corresponding button's Action column, select the desired custom function. Then, choose the button type and the number of presses or duration in the Press and Count columns. Click SAVE to complete the settings. Currently, there are 6 available functions that can be assigned to shortcut buttons. There are 2 ways to use the buttons: long-press and short-press. The duration of a long press can be customized, while the number of presses for a short press can also be customized. The following are the 6 functions that can be set:  Unused VTX Setting Increase Output Power Enable WiFi Enter VTX Channel Enter Binding Mode Enter VTX Band The pictures below show the functionality of the transmitter in its factory default settings. (The left button is Button1 and the right button is Button2). Button Action Press Count Button1(Left Button) Enter Binding Mode Short Press 3 Times Increase Power Long Press For 0.5 seconds Button2(Right Button) Go to VTX  Channel Menu Short Press 2 Times Send VTX Settings Long Press For 0.5 seconds Note: This transmitter hardware does not support button RGB lights. Bind & External Power Supply The SuperG Nano Transmitter utilizes the default firmware, which employs the ExpressLRS V3.3.0 official protocol without a Binding Phrase. Consequently, the binding receiver should also be equipped with firmware V3.0.0 or higher and have no Binding Phrase set. For optimal performance, it is recommended to position the transmitter's two antennas as far apart as possible. Put the receiver in a bound state and wait for connection. Click the "Bind" in the Lua script or the set custom button to enter the binding mode. If the Indicator has turned solid, it indicates that the device has been bound successfully.  Note: If the firmware of the TX is reflashed and the Binding Phrase is configured, you cannot enter the Binding state through the above method. Please set the RX to the same frequency Binding Phrase, and the TX and RX can be connected automatically. When the dual transmit power exceeds 500mW, the SuperG Nano Transmitter exhibits relatively high power consumption, leading to a reduced battery life. To prolong the transmitter's usage time, it is advisable to utilize an external battery as a power source. The power consumption of the transmitter is not only related to the transmit power but also to the telemetry ratio. When using high power of 500mW and above, the return ratio can be set higher to reduce power consumption and extend use time. For example, in Gemini mode, the power consumption of setting the return ratio to 1:128 is 1000mA, while the power consumption of setting the return ratio to 1:2 is only half of 1:128. Note: When the voltage of the radio transmitter battery or external battery is lower than 7V (2S) or 10.5V (3S), please use the Gemini mode of 500mW and 1W carefully, otherwise the transmitter will enter the restart state due to insufficient power supply, resulting in disconnection out of control. FAQ When establishing a link, it is not possible to enter the LUA script.  The ELRS LUA script version is outdated and requires an upgrade to elrsV3.lua. The baud rate of the radio transmitter is set below 400K, and it should be adjusted to a value above that. If there is no option to modify the baud rate, it is necessary to update the radio transmitter firmware, ensuring that EdgeTX is at version V2.7.0 or newer. If your radio transmitter is unable to use the F1000 Packet rate or prompts "Baud rate is too low". Reason: F1000 requires a baud rate higher than 400K, and the radio transmitter's baud rate is 400K by default. Solution: First update the baud rate (greater than 400K) setting in the Hardware from the Model Setup menu or System menu, then restart the radio transmitter to ensure the baud rate setting has been applied. Then change the Packet rate. When the F1000 is turned on, the Packet rate between the radio transmitter and the SuperG Nano Transmitter is less than 1000. Reason: EdgeTX version problem Solution: The EdgeTX version needs to be upgraded to 2.8.0 or above. And the LiteRadio 3 Pro Radio Transmitter defaults to EdgeTX 2.8.0 and does not have this problem. The SuperG Nano Transmitter's default firmware is ELRS V3.3.0, and users need to update the receiver to V3.0.0 or above to bind the frequency.
