TAM32600, 1/48 German Self-Propelled Heavy Anti-Tank Gun
This is a highly detailed model of the WWII German tank destroyer Nashorn. The German Army developed self-propelled anti-tank guns in order to counter the overpowering Russian T-34 and KV tanks, and the Nashorn had particularly overwhelming power among the many anti-tank guns produced. The production started in February 1943, and the Nashorn sported an L/71 8.8cm Pak43/1 gun which was capable of penetrating armor from a long distance. At the Italian Front, the Nashorn knocked out an M4 Sherman at 2.8 kilometers, and its excellent firepower was indispensable to the German forces until the end of WWII.
Suspension and hull sides are accurately depicted
Moving main gun features realistic elevation/depression and traverse
Includes plate weights to give the model a realistically heavy feel

TAM12054, Tamiya Tyrrell 003 1971 Monaco GP 1/12 Plastic Model Kit
This is the Tamiya Tyrrell 003 1971 Monaco GP 1/12 Plastic Model Kit. The Tyrrell 003 1971 Monaco GP encompasses formula one history with this iconic vehicle. The Tyrrell team made their Formula One debut in 1968 and quickly achieved excellent results, with a drivers' championship for Jackie Stewart the next season. From the 11th race of 1970 in Canada, the team debuted the in-house designed 001, which paved the way for the 003 and 002 cars piloted in 1971 by Stewart and François Cevert respectively. While a unique integrated front wing and nose with radiator just below caught the eye, the 003 utilized an otherwise orthodox, reliable setup. Stewart achieved 6 wins in 11 races including the Monaco GP, more than enough for that season's drivers' and constructors' titles. Now, the car is immortalized in Tamiya 1/12 scale.NOTE: Photo of completed model is for illustrative purposes only. This is a model kit that requires assembly. Hobby tools, adhesive and paint will be needed to complete the model.Features:
Realistically captures the T-shaped, flat nose cowling - called "hammer head" - of the 003 which raced in the 1971 Monaco GP, plus the rounded body panels.

The World's Largest "Submarine Carrier"The I-400 was a submarine the likes of which the world had never seen before. At the time of their completion, the I-400 and her sister ships were the largest, and arguably the most advanced submarines in the world. With a 122m length, 12m width, and 6,560 ton displacement, their size rivalled that of destroyers of the time and their amazing endurance could allow them to traverse the globe one and a half times. Loaded with three Seiran bombers, a planned attack on the Panama Canal was only moments away from reality. Diverted to attack the gathering Allied invasion fleet at Ulithi, the war ended before the submarines could launch their strike. However, the I-400 class submarines' technological advances were recognized and it can be said that they helped influence the development of nuclear ballistic submarines after the war.
