History of the B-29 Superfortress:
The part that the B-29 Superfortress played in the victory in the Pacific will be remembered for a long time. From the time of their first raid over Japan on June 15th 1944, until the last Atom bomb was dropped on Nagasaki August 9th 1945,
the giant planes dropped 171,060 tons of bombs on their targets and flew 100 million miles in doing it. The B-29's advanced design allowed it to remain in service in various roles throughout the 1950s. The B-29 was the only aircraft that ever used nuclear weapons in combat. The B-29 had a wingspan of 141 ft 3 in, was 99 ft long, and was 27 ft 9 in high. The gross weight of the plane was 135,000 lb and it's bomb load was 10 tons. Its four, 18 cylinder Wright Cyclone engines, equipped with dual turbo-chargers were rated at 2,220 horsepower each. Cruising speed was set at 300 miles per hour, while the top speed was 375 mph.

Within the rogue’s gallery of 16th Century pirates, there were few as fearedas Blackbeard. Born as Edward Teach in 1680 Bristol, England, he trolled theWest Indies and the east coast of Britain’s North American colonies in search ofill-gotten booty.
Upon sight of his ominous sailing ship, “Queen Anne’s Revenge,” most merchantships, as well as would-be opponents, would reverse course and retreat lest theybecome engaged in vicious confrontation with the bloodthirsty sea bandit.
Besides his full and flowing beard from which he coined his imposing sailingname, Blackbeard was also known for his coveted buried treasure, that whichhas yet to be found, even to this day.

Skill level 2.The Type 97 Chi-Ha was a medium tank used by the Imperial Japanese Army during the Second Sino-Japanese War, the Battles of Khalkhin Gol against the Soviet Union, and the Second World War. It was the most widely produced Japanese medium tank of World War II. A total of 1,162 units were produced from 1938 through 1942.It was equipped with a 57mm main gun, a short-barreled weapon with a relatively low muzzle velocity, designed for infantry support. The main gun had no elevation gear, therefore, the gunner used his shoulder to elevate it! The 170 hp Mitsubishi air-cooled diesel engine was a capable but slow tank engine in 1938.The Type 97's low silhouette and semicircular radio antenna on the turret distinguished the tank from its contemporaries. After 1941, the tank was less effective than most Allied tank designs. In 1942, a new improved version of the Chi-Ha was produced with a larger three-man turret, and a high-velocity Type-1 47mm tank gun. It was designated the Type 97-Kai or Type 97 Shinhoto Chi-Ha.After World War II the Type 97 tanks captured by the Soviets were turned over to the Communists Chinese army. They remained in use under the new ownership, during the Chinese Civil War. After victory, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) continued to use them in their inventory.
