The Estes Astrocam is a marvel of rocketry design combined with twenty-first century electronic miniaturization. It comes equipped with its own high-definition digital video camera and a specially engineered nosecone to house the camera during flight. The video footage is so clear and realistic, it’s almost like being there!

Using standard Estes engines, amazing heights of 1,000 feet can be reached! Rocketeers aged 10 and up can enjoy high-altitude thrills, with adult supervision for children under 12. For your launching convenience, an Estes launch pad and controller are included in the set.

The rocket has a snap-together, plastic molded fin set with a nose cone, an attachable pre-colored body tube, and die cut, self-stick decals for ease of assembly. The set includes a launch pad and controller for discharging the rocket, which measures 16.2”/41.2cm (L). (L is length, the horizontal distance from left to right.) For operation, the set requires a model rocket engine, igniter, and recovery wadding, which are sold separately. Tools and construction and finishing supplies must also be purchased separately. The set is suitable for age 10 and older, with adult supervision for children under age 12.
